I currently work as Assistant Professor in Siirt University Department of Educational Measurement and Evaluation. I received my Ph.D. degree from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Department of Educational Measurement and Evaluation in 2015. My dissertation topic is about examining the effects of different item level dimensionality models on multidimensional computerized adaptive testing methods. Our ultimate goal is to develop a live-CAT system which aims to measure students’ language skills.

I gained a scholarship from Higher Council of Education that enabled me to work as visiting scholar in the University of İllinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, within 2014-2015 academic year. I also studied in National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan, and took some master degree courses from Mathematics Department. My specific research interests include language testing, adaptive testing (unidimensional and multidimensional computerized adaptive testing, multistage adaptive testing), item response theory models, test equating, DIF (differential item functioning) and R programing. I published some papers about aforementioned research areas.

Kind Regards,
